The internet is cool!

You know in the last few years I have managed to get back in touch with a lot of people I had lost touch with through the internet. Then a couple of days ago I got a comment on my blog (rddcn.multiply.com). I have mostly family stuff there and I use it, among other things, to keep some of my distant relatives up on what's happening. I also use it to post things about family history, family stories as well as other things. Well this comment was from a second cousin on my mom's father's side of the family. I guess he found me doing a search. Turns out that his great-grandparents are my great-great-grandparents. So now he's going to be sending me a genealogy of that side of the family. Would that ever have happened without the internet? Probably not. And pretty cool!

I can say that internet is really cool. Just like you and many other people, I also found lots of old friends that I have never communicated, never seen for a very long time. I found my old friends, classmates from the elementary and up to the college years. I found my former girlfriends, too. I also found new friends, new good friends, from different places, like you. I also found my Best Online Friend dhangski. And still, internet remains the coolest place to go whenever we are down, emotionally and even financially. We found mylot...

You are right. Thanks to internet I found old time friends, that I lost contact with. It is so nice to be able to talk to old friends and some family members.

That seriously is cool dawn... i got back in touch with some girls in high school through the net as well but nothing like your story lol... well he probably was doing a vanity search, entering his name, and you guys most likely have the same family name so that's perhaps how your blog popped up??
Just an idea lol
I keep in touch with a lot of family and friends that i otherwise wouldn't be able to without the net. Chat, emails, and social groups are the ways i do that. With the negatives of technology the internet is without a doubt the biggest positive =)
