there are very few directors who can experiment with moveis and such was the case with the movie. mel gibson i felt is always a director who likes to experiment a lot and that is what is very much evident with this movie. the movie starts with a great pace scene of a wild pig being chased and from that very moment you are deeply interested in the movie. the entire time line is of the mayan empires. although i found it a bit difficult to understand the movies and felt that i have to listen every dialogs with extra concentration to understand what is exactly going on. but then i like these movies. at least i have to do something. there were lot of talks about the scenes showed in the movie but then i think it is a part of the movie and felt it was not extra but a part of the movie. i felt there was violence but not something which is objectionable. all in all i think it is a must for those who like to watch movies which are a bit different.

I like Mel Gibson as an actor, but this is one of those movies I have no intentions to ever watch. It just looks dumb to me.
