We have friends usually because he or she shares common interests and or belief systems. As a result, friends tend to be in all shapes and sizes. We would like to believe that we do not choose friends based on physical appearance or do we? In some instances, though, friendships are formed on the basis on physical attractiveness. I have even heard of people hanging with friends who look less attractive than them so that all of the attention is centered on oneself. What are your thoughts?

I don't care about the look. As long as they're true friends. Ones that support you when you need it and help you out whenever they can. People you can trust and don't gossip about you; those are real friends to me. I just don't look at the outside. You have people that are beautiful from the outside but are ugly as anything from the inside.

friendship does not come on physical appearence.never ever think like tat.it is based on character, mutual understanding caring affection etc. if suppose your friend is better than you and many people see her then be happy that your friend is attracted by everyone.instead don't think in negative way.. friendship is a true feeling.. i cant express by words...too.. its sort of bonding

I do make friends on common interests rather than physical appearance. I think that it is a shallow thing to do.

The look is not what I see in a true friend. Its the inside that shines through

I could definitely see some people doing that. I also would assume that some poeple make friends with prettier people so that they can maybe date their ex-boyfriends or brothers, or something. I really don't take a person's appearance into consideration, because I find there's nothing harder than trying to make a conversation with someone who is just plain stupid.

For me, people are like the fingers we had. We have fingers in different sizes and people are just like that. If some tends to choose friends who looks less attractive than them, maybe those persons are self conscious about their appearance. However, I am glad to say that I am not one of those kinds. I have friends more and less attractive than me but I don't care. Actually, looks doesn't matter at me at all. What matter's for me is the heart of my friend and his or her sincerity with our friendship. It's not my habit to choose friends base on their physical appearance.I know we all had special characteristic given by God.In addition, I do not think that I am better with my friend or my friend is better than me. I believe in that because, I know that each of us has unique characteristics that shouldn't be ashamed of but be proud of.
