i have a very large family. my grandparents had 6 kids who had between them 19 kids and between them 31 kids and so far between them 3 and 1 on the way.
so total with spouses that is 74 and one on the way, more if unmarried ones bring boyfriends or girlfriends.
When my grandparents were alive everyone bought them Christmas parents. I did buy for all the children once. Once was enuff too.
I think it would be great to draw names but.... We do all get together for dinner though.

My family use to draw names every year when we had Christmas at my parents. Some complained about the quality of gifts, so we went to men bring a man's gift, woman a woman's, girls, a girl's, boys a boys, and would just bring a gift for the baby if there was only one. My husband has a big family too and they decided to have an ornament exchange, each bringing an ornament.
Now that my immediate family is getting so big, we are thinking about a gift exchange. My parents always got in the gift exchange too, even though we bought for them and they bought for the adults. The kids got a new silver dollar in a card from them with that years date from my parents.
