In my eyes, chinese people like tea and foreigners like coffee.Because the tea originated from the CHINA. Some elderly like my parents ,they like tea more than coffee. But most of young people include me prefer coffee to tea. What your choose?I expect your answer.

I do like coffee, but it stops me from sleeping at night, so I try not to have it very often. I love tea as well though, and in Britain we're also big tea drinkers. Most people here like it with milk, but I prefer it black. I also like green tea, white tea and chai tea. I think you're right generally about the age thing. Most younger people I know prefer coffee to tea.

I much prefer tea. I don't feel right unless I have my cup of tea in the morning. it's refreshing, and wakes you up. I find coffee tends to have a stodgier taste, and coats your mouth, and just isn't as refreshing as a lovely cup of tea. I like my tea well brewed with very little milk and no sugar. I hate tea that has too much milk or hasn't been brewed enough

It depends on the time of the day, actually. My first caffeine fix for the day would have to be with coffee... that seems to be true for the rest of the day too, for me. But in the evening when I want that warm feeling in my tummy after dinner, I always have tea. I am not a fan of green tea or fruit teas, though. I'm a Lipton girl! LOL I just have it with milk and Splenda. :)

In the office, coffee is always my first choice since it enables me excited about everything. while out of the office building, I prefer to tea for the special scent behind itself.

I drink coffee and tea. Tea is a late occurrence and I became habituated when a Chinese friend of mine introduced me to it. I bought a tea pot and started drinking tea on a daily basis. Cheers!!

I am now a pretty addicted coffee drinker. I might only drink about two cups of it per day but nevertheless it has become a habit. I started drinking it routinely when I was in my twenties. When I was pregnant one of the times I stopped drinking it for my health. I used to drink tea much more often when I was quite younger. I don't drink so much of it anymore. If I do drink hot tea I like to add cream and a good bit of sugar to make it sweet. Now my morning drink is actually hot coffee. It just seems to get my day started off right. Take care ranran.

I actually like both and what I drink depends on what is available in the house and sometimes it depends on my mood too. I love coffee when it has creamer. I don't like bitter coffees but I remember my great grandma always invites me to drink her coffee which is very dark. Good thing it has sugar but as I have said I prefer my coffee to have cream. I love cold coffee during summer or anytime that I feel like drinking. Tea us also one of my favorite and I want it more if it has milk, in short cold milk tea. I love tea because it has a lot of good effects to our body and coffee has too. They are both good for us but too much drink of coffee has also bad effect while too much tea causes yellowish teeth.
