56-year old gives birth to her own granddaughters -- TRIPLETS!!!

YES, its true, This 56-year old has given birth to her own granddaugthers!!! I saw this on the news this morning. I am surprise.. I realised how outdated i was too... LOL.. Jaci Dalenberg, the grandmother and lady in question gave birth to her granddaughters in October.. She volunteered to be the surrogate mother for her daughter when they decide to adopt.. As her daughter was unable to give birth due to medical reasons.. I am shocked and surprise! I really am... Surprise at Jaci Dalenberg with her courage and her good health... Also, I am surprise at how the family would want more children on top of their 2 kids.. They love children.. Which is hard for people in Singapore! Haha.. For those who don't know, our Singapore government is encouraging citizens to get married and give birth to children as there is not enough youth to support the elderly. Singapore is fast becoming another elderly country if nothing is done soon.. Problem is people here are still coping hard with the living standards here that we are thinking of earning more money before we plan the family... Personally, I have that thought too.. I am afraid I am not within my financial means to take care of my child if i were to have even just one.. Furthermore, I am not sure if I am that couragerous to get my mother to help me if I am unable to give birth.. I would probably consider adoption as I would be pretty worried about my mother's or mother-in-law's health.. But I am curious, I want to know whether anyone here in mylot wuld you go to the extend as how the grandmother would do for her daughter? And would you as the daughter or the son feel if your mother or mother-in-law becomes the surrogate mother?
