You'll just know it when you're ready... Yup, i do agree that you need to prepare for it. It's hard to have a kid when you think your own life is still not in order. You need to be stable, not only financially but emotionally as well. When you have your child, trust me...you will know just what to do. Call it maternal instinct. ;)

Emotionally stable is a big one. How can you raise a kid if you're all out of whack? You don't need to be rich, but being able to supply the child with basics without welfare is important. Planned parenting is great, but sometimes it just happens, I got pregnant on the pill! :O

My biological clock went off and all I could see was babies. Everywhere I went, I saw babies, or people who used to be babies. It was awful. Not really sure how it works for a guy though.

When I was 22, I went to the doctor because I thought I had mono. The doctor said you don't have mono, you have pregnant! lol That is when I knew I was ready.

I believe having children should be well planned now a days.We should at first plan to start family life. What I mean is we should get married first before we plan to have children. It really comes in the right time if we are not in a hurry. You should be financially stable first. The right partner comes along too if we are not always in haste.Hope you lead yourself in the right path of having a family life.Pray for Gods guidance and you will not go wrong.
