I Earned almost $20 at AC!

[i]I joined Associated Content last July 24, 2008. I know it's been 4 months (almost) but I only published 32 contents there (see my contents @ http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/270369/may_ledesma.html). I have been busy with other things that I really can't concentrate in writing articles for AC. 
But I'm really happy that they paid me around $20 already for my effort! (see the attached image for reference) I know, just like MyLot, AC is not paying that much since I don't really go for upfront payment, I only rely on article views. But we know as well that big things start from small things right? I hope I can make it big someday in AC. I might as well get busy with my articles on top of my regular job, my two blogs (http://littlenicholas.com/ and http://maplekisses.tabulas.com/), my MyLot affiliation, my HubPages affiliation and many other stuff! 
How about you? How much have you earned from AC so far? How long have you been a member? How many articles have you published? I really appreciate your replies.

I have seen that you are from the Philippines. I thought they are not paying us and only international members. Did you get a lot of impressions with your articles?Congratulations...

I had joined associated conted long time back but never earned any thing after writing an article on it so i stopped writing on it.............same thing with the websites which say they will pay for each survey but they never paid me any thing for taking surveys too.....

Hi sahyd2don, that's really sad. But well, I tried to be patient with AC you see. I'm sure they're very busy. Evaluating articles before they are published is not an easy thing to do (trust me, I know that, I work for blogtoprofit.com). I just published and published articles and waited for them to take notice that they owe me big time, hahaha! 
I haven't done surveys though... But well, maybe you can try AC again. Good luck!

Congrat on your earning. You really know how to drive visitors to your articles in AC. Me? I only made pennies from it even though I had joined more than half a year. I have 7 articles in AC but unable to make much money from it. Now, I just don't bother with the site anymore.

Hi flowerhorn, that's just sad. Oh well, I have 33 articles as of the moment. I only posted my AC links on my 2 blogs maybe that's the reason I'm having impressions. I also write articles that will get the interest of students, you know, sort of stuff they research in the internet... I'm earning a few cents everyday but well, it's better than nothing, hope you'll be back though.

Congratulations! I just signed with AC last week and I haven't done anything on it yet. I still don't how to go about it, I still don't understand them, hehe...
I hope I can find the time to read their rules and policies (procedures) so I can earn soon.

I signd up over a year ago and so far I have only done one thing there. I am too lazy to sit and write an article and then edit it. lol

I think you are doing well to have earned that much without any upfront payments. So far I've made about $13 with upfront payments and less than a dollar from performance page views. This is still better than what I have made with other sites so far so I'm happy with it. I will check out some of your articles. I'm sure if you keep it up you'll earn much more.

Hi restlesslimbs, good for you, you can earn from upfront! I really wanted too but oh well, it isn't available outside US. My articles aren't really great, it's just that it caters much to students' interests, maybe that's the reason I have many visitors, these students like to research in the internet you know.

You have 32 articles and they are paying $20. That's wnderful. Do you get that regularly or is this your firt payment? I want to know what is the minimum payout for international members like you and me, since we both don't qualify for upfront? Is it $1.50?

Hi SydneyHazelton, that $19.87 was my accumulated payment for 3 months. The reason why I got a bigger payout is because they had this promo last July if I'm not mistaken. It was to publish 5 articles for the month of July and they'll give you $10. I got interested so I joined AC and published 10 articles so I qualify for the $10 freebie. the $9.87 was from daily impressions. I do think they pay even less than $1.50 too coz I remember having $.02 and $1.37 included in my payout.

Hi maple, I am a new member too, got 20 articles only. and $0.65 lol,, so small. I guess I'm not promoting my articles well. But they sent me $10 this end of the month as incentive. They said they'll pay me another $10 for 15 articles this month. I will have to try. We can help each other by visiting each other's sites.
