Do you buy somethings for the others?

For every time you shopping, do you buy somethings for your family or friend? Mostly i only buy for my own, do you think this is good or bad? what about you?

I always buy the same thing I buy for each member of my family which I buy for myself .I dont like buying a new thing for only myself whereas my family wont have it.So I usually buy it for all members of my family. I thing its better to share the thing you buy for yourself with your friends and mfamily as it makes a good relation between you and your friend and at bad times he stays always in front to help you.

I used to buy things only for myself when I was a student. After I gratuated from university and got a job, I bought things not only for myself but for my family members and friends. They are the ones I loved so much.

Only during the holidays or for birthdays, otherwise I am just shopping for myself. I sometimes for back to school and things like that or if I am on vacation I will pick up a few things but other than that I am usualy only shopping for me.

If I had the money I definately would do this. At this point in my life. I get what's on our list and that's it. I do see things I would like to get for other people. I have kids, so they get what they need and some treats here or there. But they only get big toys on birthdays and christmas.
