Okay I am out of games for the two yearold. It is raining, so we are inside. I hate to let him watch TV all day and we have read books for the last hour and a half, so I am looking for good games. Other than peekaboo and chase (both exhauseted) what do you all do on a rainy day?

My son is 3 years old and I've gotten into the habit of keeping certain activities limited to rainy days... We love to paint, so I set everything up on the kitchen floor for him to paint. He also loves water, so I sometimes let him play in the kitchen sink with cups and spoons and bowls. Also, he loves to print and look at pictures so when it's yucky outside, that's when we usually sit with the digital camera and download, print and put photos in the baby books. Hope this helps!

I like the idea of saving certain things for rainy days. Of course it is a little late for that this time. We played in the sink for about an hour last night, but maybe we will go with the painting thing

Thanks for all the advice, we made it through the day. The Drawing thing turned into me drawing and my son playing with a train, and the whole thing devolved into a long game of chase which included the dog and lots of laps around the house. At one point I just took a break and the kid and the dog kept going in circles for about 15 minutes before I jumped in again. This was of course followed by a nap.
