It's been a tough two weeks for me. I had an MRI on my right shoulder and they found a mass on my left lung (Don't ask me...I haven't figured it out yet either!! LOL) Then when I had the appointment with my Pulminologist (asthma doctor) she discovered that my heart murmer had gotten worse. I am helping my sister through her separation and divorce from her husband and listening to all the gory details about him and his girlfriend. I have my sister's dog until she can get situated in another house...which won't happen until she gets her disability. My daughter go beyond angry because she got into the University of California at Bakersfield and I didn't have the time to take an ad out on CNN to congratulate her-and then she had the guts to get upset at me because I wasn't appriciative that they stayed with me for 9 months and totally destroyed everything of mine that they got their hands on. I had five extra people living under my roof and it was total caios! I'm still working at paying off the bills from having them here, and finding a car to replace the one that they ruined. There wasn't even a thank you from them for my letting them stay and destroy my home.
The thing is, I REALLY need to hear good news and only good news today. Even if it is something as simple as someone finding a penny on the sidewalk. I am trying to think of a good reason to keep fighting to stay alive, not that I am thinking of doing anything stupid, I just need some really TOTALLY FUN good news from my fellow myLot members.
Thanks ahead of time.

Well if this helps, my daughters play went very well tonight..There was even a guy from a theater from a nearby town that asked the writer of the play where he found her. Don't know if it will amount to anything, but it shows that she did very well.. I am sorry for all you are going through though. Seems like everyone lately has had some really bad days/weeks/even months, but I know that we can't stay this way forever...

That is so wonderful! You must be very proud, I sure would be!
I thought with all that has been going bad in my life, and obviously the awful stuff that is happening to others it might be a nice idea to remember the little good things.
I am usually very good at waiting, but with it being a test to see if the mass on my lung is cancer, I'm not being very good at waiting. Then with everything else including my not getting my homework totally finished for one of my classes- while I was trying to do the work the phone kept ringing (one call was from my sister who was in tears over the fact that her husband stopped by, grabbed a pizza for him to share with his "girl friend", and I went through 20 minutes of how much she hated him etc....all the natural things a person goes through when they are divorcing.) then the dog got something stuck in his mouth and he hates having people mess with his mouth. I just turned it in as is.
I did get one piece of good news in the mail. I work as an inspector for the election polls, and I got my pay check today. In time to get some food and a piece of equipment for one of my jobs. I might even have a couple of dollars left to buy me a trinket to treat myself a bit nice.
I am sooo glad that your daughter's play went very well. I had gotten involved in drama class in high school but got tired of the teacher and his making passes at all the "pretty" girls. I still get the bug once in a while. I hope good things come of her preformance. And you have more good things come into your life.

Oh, wow! Sounds like things are going pretty rough for you.. I know that's painful obvious, but I don't think anyone is good at saying the right thing when people have bad news.
Let me see, good news, good news. I actually was not in a great mood towards the end of today.. but things are just normal for me. It was hat day, and I wore my black barrette, you know, those french flat hats, and everyone liked it. Also, I'm drawing a picture of a Barbie doll and a chubby Buddha statue holding hands in art class.

I hope you will find a way to post the pix on myLot. It sounds really cool! I'm not much for having people saying the right thing when they find out what kind of shape I'm in health wise...I have always been one to work my way through the health problems. Each day the sun comes up there is good news, simply because you were there to see the sun come up. To me it's special when I find a penny on the sidewalk, or I can make someone smile. Right now I am planning a big surprise for a cousin that is going through Chemo. My adopted sister and I will be setting up a Christmas tree for her as a surprise plus we're going to put some surprise presents under the tree for her and her family. I guess it's called magic.
I wish I had the talent to draw like you...but my talents are in other areas as I design and make artist teddy bears. I work in 3D.
Thank you so much for the happiness you shared. Believe it or not even a normal day where you think not too much special happened makes another's day much brighter. Thank you! (Oh, speaking of bad hair days...I colored my hair last night, it was supposed to be dark brown and it came out BLACK! OOPS!!!! Wonder where that came from???)

My cat Jake was yelling at my husband this morning. My husband had to leave out very early this morning. Usually in the morning when my husband feeds the fish Jake gets excited because he also gets some, gee a cat eating fish food
My husband had to quickly feed the fish so that Jake could have some.

Murphy, my 14 year old Siamese loves fish food too. It's really odd. She would always nag until I gave her a few flakes.
Thanks for the smile and bringing back happy memories!

Congratulations on your graduation. I am taking college classes and am hoping one day to graduate. I am praying for you and that you will get the job that you are interviewing for next week. I am sure you will...just go in tall and smiling and confident. Make them feel that they couldn't survive without your knowledge. Go for it!!!
