hey welcome, just make sure you post discussions and response that are interesting and in detail not just short one or two sentences. people say it should be at least 4 lines long, quality is better than quantity. just post and have fun, you'll learn alot of stuff and meet alot of nice people. dont expect to make a fortune either, you have to work for the money. your earnings are updated everyday so you'll see how much you made the previous day.

Please read the TOS, guidelines. The amount varies and there is no way for someone to tell you hae that will pan out. Quality of post is more important that quanity though. Welcome to mylot and good luck to you.
