Boring conferences

Today, I attended a conference because of work. As part of a team that would implement a new program, my colleagues and I were asked to attend this conference that would train us on how to implement the new program. Willingly, we went since we want to know more about the new program that we have to implementa. Arriving at the conference site, we were even a little bit early. They haven't even set up yet, and we were already there. The boredome started the second the presenters talked. They just kept on going on and on about the program. I mean, there should have been more interaction or hands on training since this is something we have to do. But no, they just kept on talking and looking at their power point presentation. I almost fell asleep. Fortunately, my colleague tapped my arm, so that prevented me from really falling asleep. Have you ever attended a boring seminar/conference/workshop/training or whatever else yu want to call it?
