electrical outlet even there is nothing being charged? Everyday.I see chargers still connected in an outlet with nothing being charged. My children always do this. Sometimes,my husband's shave is hooked even it has fully charged already. I usually end up nagging and nagging everyone that electircity continues to run when these chargers are left unplugged without nothing at the other end. It seems that no matter how I say things about leaving chargers plugged only go to deaf ears...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I decide to keep quiet and follow these chargers to unplug...

I always leave my charger unplugged but I will switch the plug off. Will this be ok? Not sure if the switch is off, do the electricity still continues because sometimes when I accidentally touch the end of the charger, I can feel a little electric shock. Like father like son. I think your children have followed your husband bad habit. A habit is hard to change. I also always nag at my husband on his dirtiness, which always forget to flush after using the toilet, yet you should know the result, I still have to flush for him sometimes. I am also tired nagging at the man now.

hi cocoo, electricity tips shown on tv says that we should unplug appliances all the time as 25% of electricity still works. Oh,Im sorry to hear about your husband's toilet habit...quite gross really...made my stomach swirl thinking that I would follow somebody else poop...hehehe. Well, cocoo, there are just somethings that we need to stomach...if you didnt have the patience for your man,Im sure you would have left him by now...I truly wish he will change. Have more patience...take care...happy mylotting.

I do this with my cellphone. I never used to. I can't imagine it uses all that much electricity, but I worry that it's a fire hazard or something. But I guess I got over that because I do it all the time now.

No, not really. I make sure I unplug everything in the house that is not used at all. My husband do that like leave his cellphone charger plugged even if his phone isn't charging...as well as his boat battery still plugged. I don't like it. It does consume electricity even if you're not charging anything.
