As far as I know, drink too much is harmful to your health. Many people will drink when they unhappy,it is said that you can reduce your pressure by drinking. Some people think drinking is modern and fashionable. In my opinion, drinking does great harm to our health, other the other hand, drinking also costs us much money and afferts our normal life.

i do agree drinking is harmful to your health. and costs alot of money. but, the way i see it, NO ONE is going to live forever, so i'm going to enjoy life while i'm alive. i'm not religious, and i don't believe a drink now and again is going to send me to hell. it is very rare that i will get smashed drunk, but i have alot of stress in my life so there are nights when i'll have a drink or two to relax. is drinking hurting my health? over time sure. but how about stress? thats hurting my health too, especially if you take into consideration mental health, so i may be hurting myself, but i'm relieving antoher hurt, so, it's really a trade off.

I dont like drinking and dont know why people are get addicted to it.I tasted it once to test it and dont find any special taste for it.I think people are not aware of demerits ans danger caused by drinking. It can effect our kidney and liver. If we take a survey we can see new generation people are taking it more and day by day the number is increasing.

I agree with you. Drinking is not good for health. I used to drink only soft drinks. I think it is waste of money also. I know so many families effected by the habit of drinking. Happy to sharing your views. Happy myLotting.

There was a time that drinking was my best friend.. I was my only friend.. But indeed, nothing can be solved by drinking.. I guess i'ts ok to have a few drinks for fun and on occations, but just like anything else, anything in excess is bad for you.. It's ok to drink moderately, and for reasons not associated with depression.. At least that's my take on the thread.. Cheers!

I don't drink myself because I don't see any use in doing so. I don't mind the idea of drinking a little, because I know many people that do so and it's really not that unusual, but I know a lot of people that drink a lot just to "act cool", and I find that really stupid (they consider it, as you mentioned, modern and fashionable). Drinking a little, to my knowledge, doesn't harm health that much, but drinking a lot definitely does. People can get addicted to it and become real drunks, it has negative effects on our lifestyle, and I just can't help asking myself, what's the use? Is there really any point in wasting so much money for something that might please you or make you feel better for a while, but is really horrible for you in the long run? I'll stick to water! =P
