We are just human,so we get sick. I go through complete blood chem every 6 months to be regularly updated especially that lately,my blood pressure was on 200/110=Terrible BP. The only problem with me is that I have very thin veins. Blood chem requires a person to fast for at least 8 to 12 hours. When I fast the more my veins would "hide" away from the needle. Sometimes,it will take 5 ins before the very competent medical tachnicians could find a good vein. After the needle is out, expect a big violet hematoma all aound the skin which the needle went through...arrggghhh.
I had my blood chem just last November 3 when we went home to Manila...the result was not very good. The SGPT and SGOT were very high than the normal...so I had liver ultra sound...the result=a fatty liver, since we are very fond of fried food,I have to avoid it now.
I am under medication=lots of meds.
I ask every one to avoid fried food all the time.Especially our famous Lechon(roast whole pork)and have your blood chem regularly.
