I believe there are more people living in your houshold.
So in your bathroom do you use just one towel for wiping hands or does everyone has its own?
When you take a bath or shower do you use your towel more then once or do you take a fresh one everytime you shower?
I never use the same towel twice, accept for wiping hands. As for showering we all use fresh towels each time we shower, and even if that means more times a day.
I know of families where everyone has its own towel and uses it for a week.
Whats your habbit in this matter?

This is one of my forever problems in my house hold. There are 4 of us. I get to decide when to change towels...First,I announce whose is whose...your towel is this one, then for you this one...but,but,but,...they will never remember whose towel is whose...grrrrrrrrr.
After every use, right away it is hang on the clothes line as I believe that germs like moist cloths. But most of the time...for my son and husband...a towel has a very short life span as I see them often using it for wiping their sweats...I go mad and throw them in the hamper. As for the hands...we use paper towels.

Well it depends... when i was living with my parents each person had their own towel for the shower but we had the same towel for drying our hands. However, if someone had a cold they got a specific colored towel so they won't be sharing their germs with everyone lol...
Now im married it's just me and my husband... same deal happens when one of us is sick...

Hello,Mojcica! In our house we are eight members and every one has his/her separate towel for bathing purpose. The towel is meant for wiping the water from the body after bath and every time we wash the towel after use.thanx.

it's only me & my hubby on our apartment & of course it's me who decides and manages the household. we use paper towels or just plain tissue when wiping our hands so that's for the both of us. when taking a bath we do have our own towel. since it's for wiping our clean bodies, i would change it every week so we use each of our towels in a week for 6 days. the 7th day would be for a a new towel. that's the habit we have. though i respect the habit you have, for me it would be expensive to be changing it everyday since it's plainly for wiping clean bodies i guess it will not get too much dirt from us. as much as i'd want to do that if ever but i think i can't because of our busy lives, we both go to work. perhaps when i have kids already then i would want to do the habit you're doing especially if those kids are playing like crazy outside the house & gets rough & dirty with perspiration 7 everything. & for infants who has delicate skins. but for now, let's keep it the way it is.
thanks for your topic, it gave me an idea on how to manage a bigger household.
