My mother inlaw called last night said the Dr. Phill show called her and wants our family to go on. It started in september when I involved them in some issues me and the wife where having. She stayed up all night that night preying and the next day wrote to the show. They called her last night asking if we would be willing to go onto the show. I know how hard Dr Phill can be on people but it would get us the help that we need. I am concerned about airing my feelings on national television. with that said the good that comes out of it I think will definately out weigh tthe bad. What is your opinion on this.

I noticed someone compared it to the Jerry Springer show. I have watched many Dr Phil shows and have great respect for his wisdom. I may not always agree with him but still see where he is coming from and respect it. I don't know that I could air personal things on national TV as so many do, but then I have never felt really lost or desperate for help. One thing I can say for Dr Phil, if he can't help someone that's on his show, he seems to have the resources to get them the help needed. Ask yourself how bad your situation is. If the answer is "Really bad," then take the hand that offers the help. Just be sure you can live with others knowing your personal business. Good luck to you.

Hey if it's anything like the Jerry Springer show you will get a plain ticket, limo, hotel room, and a free trip. What could it possibly hurt? I'm sure that that show is scripted just like all the other ones. It just takes the root of the problem and makes it into whatever they think the public will find interesting. So I say again WHY NOT!!!
