India has such a vast and talented population yet we have so far managed only 1 gold medal whereas countries less resourceful than us have managed to get thousands.....

Well, there are a lot of factors that may prevent your country's team and athletes from winning but never give up. Just always support them. I hope that your country will get more wins in the future.
