Mañito - Mañita is a spanish word for exchanging and every Christmas season mañito - mañita is popular in schools where the students gets to pick a name for his/her partner to exchange gifts with. It is also done in offices for employees and even just group of friends can do it. It is a secret who you have picked and for several days until the Christmas party everyone will be exchanging gifts secretly. Sometimes there are rules about what kind of gifts you have to give for a certain day. Like for example today is all about "red" they have to give something thats red or can be associated with the color red. It is fun and exciting trying to guess who your mañito or mañita is. Sometimes the gifts you will be receiving can give you clues. Who knows, it could just be the person sitting beside you. What about in your country? Do you have Mañitos and mañitas too? Have you done exchanging gifts in the office or at school when you're still a student? Please do share!

I so miss participating in exchange gift activities during christmas... it has been two years now since i was involved in this... right now... there is no way i can organize one... because there is only me and our maintenance guy in the office... so there is no element of surprise in that... And with my family... i already bought the gifts... and i don't expect them to give me one for chirstmas...
