I have a ton of article ideas that I would love to use for AC, but I can't seem to get any of them out. Anytime I try to start writing one it falls apart. Are there any other AC writers that have the same problem? I just can't seem to get my mind around anything lately. What do you do when you have writers block to help you write? Does it help? What would you suggest I do to break through the block?

I would suggest you stop thinking about writing those articles and just write gibberish or whatever comes to mind. The articles will come around in due time The more you try to press, the worse things will be

I have found just putting the words on paper helps. Whether it is "perfect" or not doesn't matter. Just put the words down, then go back and clean it up. You will find that once you start just writing, the words flow.

I have tried both on paper and on word (which is how I normally write my articles) and it just seems that after the first sentance I can't go any further. I tried just comming back to it, but I haven't been able to write really ANYTHING today. I even went so far as to get up clean the house and sit back down thinking that would help. I am not a great writer by any means and I think part of it might be fear of writing a bad article or something I don't know lol.

Yep, you are worried that you will write something bad. Turn off the inner editor that worries if you are saying something exactly write using the perfect word. Just write. Incomplete sentences, poor grammar, slang, whatever. Once you get the concept onto paper, you can worry about how good it is later.

Good point, I am my own worst enemy! I remember I used to write when I was in high school, I was so afraid of it being bad I wouldn't turn any of my writings in and usually ended up destroying them. It's not so much the grammer I am worried about just the way I write. I don't think I have any real talent as a writer. Days like today just make that feeling worse lol. My AC link is in my profile if you want to take a look at some of my writing and let me know what you think about it. We can add each other to our favorite Cp's! lol

You've got some good advice so far. One thing I do when I get stuck is read. Look up something pertaining to the article you want to write and just read about it, then let it percolate for awhile. Things should start to fit together in time. Good luck!

Thank you, I finally got one written, but can't seem to formulate the others as of yet. I think maybe I will try again after I take a shower and get some nice flavored coffee in me hehehheeh

I get like that sometimes, especially with Associated Content...not sure why? I call it the intimidation factor. One thing I do is just to "make notes" in Word, then save the document if it is not really article worthy. You can go back later and fix it up, edit the words, change the structure of the article, and so on. At least you will have an outline or some relevant points you want to cover. I think forcing yourself when you are not ready to "write" (vs. just jotting notes down) will be an effort in frustration. If you get the notes down and want to continue, great. Otherwise, you have some information waiting for you when you are ready to write! The problem I have is that if I don't take the notes, I may end up forgetting important points later, when I am ready to write. Writing is a fickle thing for me. Sometimes I can't wait to write an article. Other times, I can't make myself for all the money in the world. Guess I will never make it as a full-time profession! LOL

I fianlly got one started and I am in the middle of the darn thing and I blanked again. I can't be online everyday so on the days that I can be I try to get as much done as I possibly can. It does tend to get fusterating. I really want to write but the words just aren't there. I have been looking at a half finished article for an hour now trying to get it written but it just won't come out!

I save stuff for later also. I often get other ideas while I am working and I will quickly record my thoughts and get back to work. LOL, there are a lot of unfinished pieces!

I can relate because I sometimes just can not get it going. I think for myself it is more of a motivation thing, as opposed to a writers block. Maybe they are one in the same. I only have five published articles and I would not say they are quality articles but just simple release of what was on my mind at the time. If there was more money involved I would probably be more motivated. I do not really even know the correct way to submit the articles for upfront payment. I like the little payments to my Pay Pal for performance views, but just not motivated to create more.....not sure that is writers block or I am just lazy *smile*. Once I have a topic it seems to go smoothly.

I think a lot of mine might be partly stage fright now that I think about it. I don't think my writing is very good. I am very critical of myself lol.

My issue is having enough time to finish something while the ideas are still flowing. I guess if I were able to stay home and write full time without life interrupting it would be some other issue.

I have writters block so often. Thing is, once I can find something to write about, I can go from there, it is finding that topic that stumps me every time. I do okay on the page views as I refer to my AC articles in my other blogs and things... at least I assume that is where most views are coming from since I just recently started doing this and my page view commissions are up... could be just people searching for waht I have written about too... but either way... I do a little every month that way, but submitting articles.. I just can't seem to get them going.
