In an airplane, how long was the longest flight? I plan to go to Japan from the US soon, and I know it will take a long time. The longest flight I've been on so far has been about four hours though. What about for you?

I am not very adventurous when it comes to flying to be honest, I haven't even been out of my own continent, Europe, however I plan to do a long flight next year or 2010 to New Zealand and that is going to be a very long flight indeed! Probably 12-14 hours they'll probably be a stopover enroute. The longest flight has been 4.5 hours and I found that too long, I get fidgety and I am not a good flier. I went from Gatwick to Cyprus, it was my first ever flight. I still have a fear of flying but I have to face the fear as I love going to new countries!

I've been on a ten hour flight to Hawaii. I was surprised, it didn't seem that long, they had TV for us and I brought things to draw, so it wasn't so bad the way there. The way back, I just slept. It was worse waiting at the airport for hours though, because it was cold and early in the morning.

The longest flight i have ever been was around 13 hours, i flied to Frankfurt, Germany from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia directly. It was all ok, as i entertained myself by listening to musics, watching movies, and sometimes asking for orange juice. :-) After sleeping for some hours, it wont be that long like i thought.
