when I was a kid my mom married her third husband my second stepfather. For years I had to listen to him call me names, all of them hurtful and spiteful. When I would argue back I was told that he was the adult and I should listen to him. I hated him. Now he's dead and i'm glad, does that make me a bad person?

You are not a bad person . Words can kill a person in so many ways . No adult should of made you feel that way and I am sorry you had someone like that in your life . You need to heal and over time i hope you may find the peace you need.

You are not a bad person. And it maybe not very nice to be glad someone has pasted away. But I understand your hurt. But what you really need to do is to forgive him. I know that sounds werid and messed up. But if you don't it may eat you up inside and make you spitful. This way you can leave those old emotions in the past and live for the present. Please don't take this the wrong way. I understand about holding grudges against someone and it makes you not what your true self can do.

That shouldnt make you a bad person, but i think its better to forgive him for all his deeds which hurt u.. . not because he is no more but for you to be peaceful later on
