Have you ever noticed how we are all susceptible to bad days. I mean being dissatisfied with our lot. There is nothing this is right. Everything's wrong. An we keep grumbling about this, that and the other. The car is not running properly. You've got to kick it to get it started and what's more, you have just settled a large bill for repairs. The mechanic in the workshop put one complaint right, but produced two or three more that need almost immediate attention. You really can't trust anybody these days. It's the same with the fridge, the tv set, the plumbing, the leaking roof and so on. Everyone making a quick buck. All you are doing is to cough up the bread. Why is that we are so discontented? And why is it the grass in somebody else's garden always looks greener? It's dreadful when you think about it, thousands of people finding life so unsatisfactory, and not being able to appreciate the little things in life that bring pleasure, even the teeniest, weeniest bit of pleasure.
Just to be alive and breath in God's fresh air, is a great appreciation for us. Do you take things for granted? It seems that there is a great tendency to do so, and that we are slowly losing out on what is truly beautiful in life: companionship, love, sincerity, the pleasure of giving, not taking; to watch the day end and to look forward to a new day. Do you have this kind of bad days looming in your life sometimes?

I think everything you said is quite true and yes, we all have bad days and good. For me it seems my house is falling apart around me. Everything is breaking down or in the process of breaking down. I try to keep things in perspective as much as possible and I have uncluttered my life to the point where I don't need to worry about things like the car breaking down. I got rid of my car. Best thing I ever did. All it did was stress me out and cost me money. I'll be happy if I never own another car in my life. Whenever I get stressed out about life I try and find the things that make me happy. I go spend some time with my wife or I go for a bike ride or a run. I usually find that working out is a great stress relief. Oh, and I absolutely have to find someone to whom I can vent my frustrations. I am fortunate in that I have people that I can go to and unload. they are good enough friends that they will listen to me without trying to give me advice. they just listen and when I am done they make sure I am feeling better. I hope you have this same option. I know what it is like to be without. I hope this helps, Jay

I think it is part of life. There are good and bad days. What would life be if we only run on a smooth road. It will be monotonous and no thrill. Yes true friends are important in this world as they lend their ears for us to vent our frustrations and a shoulder to cry on when we are sad. No man can live alone and lead a happy life without having friends as company. You have given me a good thought on this.

Bad days aren't something I see coming, they are just things that happen, kind of a coinsedence, a "cluster-f*ck" as my husband says. Things just GO WRONG, and the day goes doown the toilet. The next day is almost always a better day than the day before was.

Oh it does happen. Sometimes misfortunes come after the other and if we will let the circumstances affect our emotion to the extremes, certainly everything will really turn even worse. To avoid bad days to really turn out really bad.. I always set my eyes on Jesus and call on Him to help me find comfort and wisdom on what to do in the midst of all the troubles besetting me. One big big help is one of my favorite Bible verses which is found in Romans 8:28 - "All things work together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose". True enough...whatever troubles that come my way there is always a good lesson to learn and everything just end up for my own good.

If we follow the words of God and remember the sufferings of our Lord, we will never be lost in our present and future predicament. Our religion always teaches us to read and follow the the bible teachings. Prayers are food for the soul and we should always pray as good christians.
