Why do young girls dress in such a provocative manner?

It really bothers me that young people are becoming more and more sexually active, and flaunting it. I had a mother glare at me and call me a pervert because I read her 11 year old daughter's buttocks a few weeks ago. Don't put words on something you don't want looked at and expect no one to look there. They weren't even the large print words, there was damn near a story on there. Why am I a pervert for reading things that I see?

I don't believe you're a pervert for that! If there was nothing there and you were staring, you would be... but in this case, the mother obviously didn't think about it when she glared at you. I suppose it is "all the fashion". Maybe someone at school wore something like that and got attention, so they refuse to wear "unstylish" clothes and more into the trends that seem to be generally accepted, unfortunately.

Welcome! Really, don't even think about feeling bad about that. You could've looked at her and then looked at her daughter and looked back at her in a disgusted look or something. I don't know. I also wish this sort of dressing would be discontinued. My aunt bought my little sister these terrible tight skinny pants and I think they're horrible and kind of provocative too. I don't see why anyone would wear them,

I don't know, but I wish that it would be discontinued. I felt like a pervert when that woman did and said that, and I was wondering whether I should feel that way or not. Thank you for your feedback. =)

You aren't the pervert! I don't blame the kids for wearing these things, I blame the parents that allow their children to wear it

Thank you! I don't look at your child's posterior to get my jollies off, I do it because she insists on putting words there! I read things that I see, it's just a compulsion, an interest in what someone had to say. I can't help that, it's just curiosity.

I read those things as well, although I'm sure it looks more perverse when I do it since I am a very old looking 57 year old man

I wonder who it was that her mother expected to read the message on her daughters bottom. An 11 year old boy?? Her mother was the perv not you.

If they were on a pair of pants of an older person would you of still read them? Probably. I have a compulsion to read pretty much anything in my line of vision. Had it since i'd first started reading lol. Parents are the ones who need to decide if what there kids wear is appropriate. I know i wouldn't want anyone staring at my daughters backside so i wouldn't let her wear such things. Clothes are becoming to provocative due to TV and other forms of media. It's up to parents to control their kids clothes most kids don't know better.

If she didn't want anyone to look at her 11 year old daughter's behind she wouldn't have bought her girl shorts with huge letters on them. Sometimes you can't help but look at these little girls wearing almost nothing at times just because you are surprised that their parents were okay with letting them get the cloths much less leave home wearing them.

I would never call someone a pervert, or even glare at them for reading my daughter's pants. Words are meant to be read, it's as simple as that.
