I know my childrens character aswell as any parent does but what they get up to, then no I don't. I'm very often on a need to know basis, if I need to know I'm told about it, mine are teenagers so they like to keep somethings to themselves which I respect but I have a 9 year old and yeah I know mostly everything he does because he's at that age he still tells me, plus he still wants to chat with his mum my other two I just get a grunt in response unless were talking money, amazing how that can get a teenager chatting..lol

Wow this is a nice way to get to know your children.I wish many other parents would find interesting times like these to get to know their children .This is particularly useful when you have a very hectic schedule an dont get to see your children much.
