what is that in sand

when i stirred a magnet in sand i found some materials and they are attracted to magnet. what are those elements? are they metal? or silicon? can i make solar panel from home? if there are any site containing complete solar cell making guide at home please provide.

I think what you found in the sand was iron. I do not know how people make solar panels, but I have heard in middle school about kids cooking hamburgers with a cardboard box with aluminum foil on it. They were cooking the beef patties with the sun's rays. I don't think that you will be able to actually generate the energy with it though, but if you can, it probably won't be so easy.

but how iron is mixed with that? and so small and big quantity? if i take 50 grams of sand i get about 15 grams of the material. anymore informations? i have to untie the mystry beyond this material. i was trying from boyhood.

In the world of Gold prospecting that black stuff is called "Black sand" and it can be 2 or 3 different things. It can me magnetite, Hematite or even finely ground Manganese. All 3 of them contain a lot of Iron. I don't know what part of the world you are in but the Black sand is a good indicator that there may be real fine gold in the sand. Get you a good strong magnifying glass and look it over good.
