Do you think a chat room on mylot will improve the site ?

This would be a room where you can chat with your friends and others .The topics could be on discussions you have started, responded to or new discussions that you want to post.You could toss ideas back and forth and flesh out the best way to approach the subject.
Alternatively the subject could be on much lighter issues like a typical chatroom and you could get to know your friends on personal level outside of the mylot space.You may eve get to meet new persons that you wouldnt meet while in mylot.
The mylot chatroom may even be open to persons from outside of mylotters and this could serve as a method of introducing the site to a wider crossection .Persons may come to chat and find that they like the discussions taking place in the chatroom and decide to check out the site.
Although my intentions are pure ,I hope I will get increased EARNING FROM THIS SUGGESTION (INTENDED FOR THE MYLOT ADMINISTRATORS ) LOL

I think a chat room will bring more members here n those who r members will also get a chance to know about each others.according to me mylot must also pay for chatting if these is done most of internet users will be members of mylot

Although a chat room is very nice, I'm not sure that it would be a good idea when it comes to My Lot. We are in a way chatting to eachother by the very posts that we make. We do have the option of sending private messages to our friends online. I like the way My Lot is at the moment and I'm not that keen on major changes taking place. Still, I am open minded at the same time! Andrew

Well, over the course of the 2 yrs I have been an active member here, everytime they make updates to this site, a Chat room has never even been considered here I think. I am not sure if I am for it or not, even though it would be nice to be able to chat with some of the active members here. But personally, that could take away from some of the active time people spend in here, so I am not sure if I am for this idea or not. Just my thoughts.

On the face of it, it sounds a good idea. It ought to eliminate a lot of "chatting" and non-discussions. It's probably for that very reason that I would be unlikely to visit it because I know it would be full of people swapping referral links and making idle banter.

In my opinion your suggestion may not help to improve the site. For example I joined myLot because it is a discussion sit with an opportunity to earn some money, not because I want to have a chat or looking for someone special. If we could not meet such a person in the general myLot area there is no guarantee that this person could be found in the chat room. There is also the question of how earnings and ranking are to be calculated, As for me I prefer seeing myLot as it is.

I dont know how one would get credit for being in a chat room. Sure it might be nice but lets face it most the people here would be on facbook were it not for the inscentive of money.

Chat rooms will be really good for Mylot. On discussions, you don't know if your friends' are there and reading your comment or whatever. On chat rooms, you automatically get your response because they are right there. It would be way more better if there were chat rooms.

that's a wonderful idea.
but I'm not sure if lots of people will visit that because they are so busy responding to the discussions.
but having a chat room will be a very good way to get to know more your friends here at myLot.

It would be a nice addition if you got paid for it to. Why? Because then you could discuss things in the chat room and it would be redundant to go and post a discussion on something that you already spoke about.

you have a good idea:)I believe Mylot will have a chat room soon!I usually see chat rooms in other sites that i visit everyday but not Mylot and I wonder why it haven't had yet though!Chat room would helps people make friends and enjoy the site more:)
