I know I don't write contraversial or abrasive posts..so why does my mylot number go down some times after posting lots of posts ..both new and first replys. I think that it's wrong to delete posts simply because they don't want you to get ahead.. I am sure it's not mylot..but if someone is doing this please tell me why ?

This happened to me quite often before. Quite often, it is not our fault. If even ONE person writes a response that violates the myLot Guidelines, then the ENTIRE Discussion gets deleted. And when that happens, your post count goes down and your earnings go down. All because of ONE careless person! So, there is really not much that you can do about it, because you cannot control other people. So, please try not to worry about it too much. :)

That is consoling to know that it's not me only..I know some times I can type and type and next thing you know something has been deleted..while you see other questionable topics that are allowed to go on .

Just one more reason that I go back and check all discussions that I start or respond to to see that people are being honest and not just there to "pad" the count. As someone else already stated, report the ones you find to be making the bad or abusive posts. This way we can clean up our own selves and not depend on My-Lot to try and keep up with all the thousands of posts daily.

Even we are so cautious on what we wrote in our response and that we are sure that we don't violate anything from the guidelines yet there are so many occasions that your post has been deleted not exactly directly because it's your fault instead it from other members who posted violations in a certain discussion. That is why it is necessary to report those violators so they would learn to read the terms and the guidelines. One thing that happened in my discussion, was a member who responded with a referral link and for the discussion not to be deleted, I reported that response and it's gone the next day but the entire discussion is still there.
