I just found that out a few minute ago... i asked the customer service of Moneybookers if i can send money to a paypal account and they responded that transaction between moneybooker and paypal is not possible... and no indication was given if it will be such in the future... I wonder why... these two companies are sort of like internet banks... and it would be great for people who signed up under them to enjoy a transaction where we can send and receive money between the two companies... but then... anything is possible... maybe time will tell and internet banks will be able to come up with a way to do away with competition... and work together that will benefit both to the fullest...

Hi aseretdd...I think moneybookers and paypal have different areas of operation, and they may be having their own limitations for working together...Any way Lets wait and see ....may be your wish will come true in the near future.....

Both companies are quite new in terms of banking standards... and i think they should be given time to sort out their differences... but it would be great if they will be able to do that really soon... most if not all users will be happy about that... Thanks for the response...

Hello aseretdd, I feel sad that I no longer can use my moneybookers account here. I have some money there but less than the amount which is allowed to withdraw. It is for my July payment from MyLot. I don't know what to do with the money and just been thinking whether I can transfer the amount to my Paypal. Alas! You gave me the answer here!

Thanks for the response...

That is certainly a dilemma... if you want i can just send you the $3 + in my moneybookers account so that you can withdraw your money... and you can just give it back when you get you paypal account...

Hello aseretdd, I have no problem with moneybookers. The transaction is smooth and I like it very much though they charge quite a hefty fee for each transaction. I also don't know what I should do with my $10+ there. It is just a few dollars less than the amount that I can withdraw from the account

It's just that perhaps they do the same service (and function) and thus they compete with the same market, therefore making friends with the enemy is like a no-no. Well,is there a possibility that paypal can upload money to moneybookers? I just got an eon application form.

Well, i think it will be good for their business if they will device a way to work with each other... it is like a win win situation for both of them and their customers as well... i haven't applied for an eon card yet... maybe next week... Thanks for the response...

yes it is impossible to connect this online payment processor because of different features and services. The same with alertpay, paypal and other payment processor. They are not like banks that can transact from different banks even worldwide but it's manual process not like online. I think this won't happen anymore.

But then if there is a will there will always be a way... and wouldn't these companies earn more if members can make transactions between the two... i just hope they will be able to device a way that this will be possible... Thanks for the response...

I think the discussion about those companies or should i say "banks" caused a mojor has caused many people wondering all ove the world on whats happening. And i think is due to the fact that one bank(Paypal) is limited or has limits on other countries and the other one is like open to almost everything a customer needs to do. And i think if they allow that to happen then it will breach the other bank's policies that limit other countries from accessing certain features. But i think they have to relook the whole thing and come up with the solution. Because we take them like any other normal bank where you can instruct them to transfer your funds from bank A to bank B, but so far they act as if they are food stores where you cannot exchange foods you bought from store A and exchange them on store B. I mean this are the people who are well organised when it come to security side on the net and i do not think that can be a major threat if that's what they are concerned about. But so far too bad.

It is indeed too bad... but then... there is already an improvement on the side of paypal... because years ago... it was quite difficult to get an account... but now anybody can do it... i just hope these two companies will be able to set up a sort of agreement where transactions between them are possible... Thanks for the response...

I think you should change to a premium account... and get your debit/credit card verified... that way you can send and receive money as well...

Yes there has been improvements at paypal, but again too bad for someone like me, I'm still on the "send money" only side of paypal, meaning i cannot receive money on my paypal account and there doesn't seem to be any improvements on that matter because is been long now that this thing has been like this. Too bad for because lot of people online prefer to pay via paypal and now I'm like left out or missing out on that, even more of the Data Entry jobs i get online most of them pay via paypal and i find myself not being able to take those jobs

I am also wondering about this issue. Why don't these two companies work together to make the internet bank system better? I also have money in my paypal account, but I cannot withdraw it out as the real money to buy anything offline in my country because paypal doesn't allow me to withdraw money in my country, so I want to transfer money from my paypal account to moneybooker account. As a result, I cannot do it. I can just imagine that one day this process will be possible for me and all the internet users who want to get the internet bank system benefit.
