Some persons subscribe to the saying that "ignorance is bliss" and "what you dont know can't kill you ".Does that apply to the question of AIDS or is that for lighter issues like you to know there is a cockroach in your dinner .I think the reason persons subscribe to such sayings is based on the fact that many persons are compulsive worriers and if they know they possess such a life threatening situation, they may only aggravate it by worrying.Fighting Aids in particular requires your body to be as physically and mentally strong as possible and both are affected when you worry .It is also a known fact that Aids reduces the body's ability to fight other diseases such as pneumonia which is often what kills you.
That is however not the only school of thought ,there are other persons who believe knowledge is the best way to fight the disease and the sooner they know the better they can attack the disease especially if it is in the early stages (HIV).They figure it cant be cured but maybe it can be controlled and the chances are better if you know from the early stages.
What do you say?

I don't understand this question. If you even think you have AIDs you should find out for sure. In today's world there are many medicines to help keep you alive and healthy. Plus, you are not being fair to the ones that love you and you love. Being mentally strong is in you. To be physically strong you need the help of Doctors and other people who will help. As for fighting other diseases being under a Doctors care will give you a better chance of getting better.
