Stick to food that have low to moderate glycaemic index. This will raise your blood sugar gently and slowly instead of making it shoot up and causing migraine. Some of the ideal food to consume to prevent migraine are whole grain bread, fruit, vegetables, nuts, pulses, wheat pasta and seeds. Also consume caffeine substances like tea/coffee and beverages like alcohol moderately. Eating a little amount of fish and chicken with every meal will also moderate the speed with which sugar is absorbed into your system.
