Has Anyone Actually Been Paid By Today.com?

Hi there, I joined Today.com's VIP blogging program about a few months ago. Though I'm enjoying the blogging, I really joined more out of curiosity to see if they actually do pay. They claim to pay $1 per post (limited to the 1 post per day even if you post several times that day). They pay you once you accumulate $50 in your account. So far, I have around $32 sitting in my account. I just wanted to know if anyone's actually been paid by them as I've searched Google and can't seem to find any proof of payment by anyone who's joined. Thanks.

I'd love to see proof of payment too if you end up getting paid. Let me know! Thanks!

I'll definitely be posting proof up on my blog when that happens. Aside from that, I'm actually enjoying writing for them - mine is about the paranormal. take care...

I asked about today.com several months ago here on myLot and never found anyone that knew anything about it, much less anyone that got paid. I looked at it, and I believe I signed up, but I never did anything with it because I didn't want to waste the time for nothing. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has been paid, and how well you end up doing.

I know this may not be the proof you want, but since my timing on signing with today.com means that I won't get paid until January, here's something from the forum: "All October payments have been sent. "If your payment was mailed you should receive it sometime within the next 2 weeks, depending on the speed of the Canadian and US postal systems. "If you elected to have payment sent via Paypal you should be receiving your email notifications shortly, if you haven't already." It was followed by post letting everyone know that people had received their PayPay payments. Checks take longer. At my usual posting rate, I will be making around $40.00 a month for the upfront payments, plus whatever page views extra I earn. If you have two blogs and post every day on both, you can make %60.00 plus page views. As I said in an earlier reply, I have complete faith in this site. Staff members are on the forum every day, and you can also PM them if you need to. All my problems have been solved and my questions answered (even the dumb ones) very quickly.

Hello bigplay, This myLot discussion was started 10 months ago. At that time, that's what Today.com was paying which was why everyone WAS saying it. However, Today.com have changed their payment structure since then. They no longer pay $1 per post, but by the amount of traffic your blog attracts. The last time I checked (which was months & months ago), it was $2 for every 1000 unique visitors you get to your blog. Not sure about the '2 cents' and I'm not sure what the 'ppm' means either. If your blog becomes extremely popular over a period of time, then Today.com might consider paying you per post. It's entirely at their discretion. Today.com have a forum for its members. You might find it useful for any further questions you may have concerning pay. take care...

Yes, i believe they pay otherwise they would ask vip members to send a w-9 tax form. I was wondering to the person in an earlier post that said you have to write 100 words to earn $1, is that really true? Because i sent them an email and they replied and they said that you get paid 2 cents ppm. What does ppm mean? I've writen almost 350 blogs. and they also said in the email that the number of words you type is irrelevant. I don't understand whats going on, why is everyone saying that they pay one dollar per post when i was told that they pay two cents? I love today.com and i'm trying to write at least $900 worth of posts by the 9nth of next month so i can get paid at least $900. I was planing on writing 2000 or more posts per day, they also said that you can write shorter posts but they also encouraged me to write more frequently when i did that. I was going to write 2000 posts a day so at 2cents a post that should mean i'd make $40.00 a day, and times that for the next 17 days or so by the tenth of next month, september i should have a few hundred dollar? So i have another question, if its true that if you write 100 words amd if they do pay you $1 for posts that have 100 words, can you write any number of posts per day? I haven't reached payout yet, and i don't really know how much money i have but i know i don't have enough, probably almost $20.00, but i'll let you know if i've been paid.

Well that doesn't sound too good to me, if they pay you 1.00 per post, but you can only post once a day. I wouldn't want to waste my time then. I've never heard of them myself...I hope they pay you when it comes time...Good luck.
