hi all!
my husband and i have committed to having a praise night every thursday night. that means, we will set aside time to just praise and worship God--not to ask for anything else, but just to give back to God the praise and worship He deserves.
is this concept new to you? if you are a Christian, would you also do this? we have started this last thursday and we are bent on keeping our commitment. it is so refreshing to just lavish God with praises instead of just asking for things or blessings from Him.
would you do this too?
take care all and God bless you!
have a great day! :D

I guess it has to do with who we worship. As a Christian we praise and worship Jesus. A Hindu or Muslim, I believe, would not do this.

Absolutely awesome. I know the Lord will bless you and your husband tremendously. We used to do this every Sunday evening. We usually gathered at a friend's home, took our guitars and just worshiped. Funny He always winds up blessing us.

It is really a wonderful spiritual programme. Selfless love and prayer to God has immense value in life. This is positively an innovative concept of programming one's work life in a meaningful way. People of all religions have their own way of offering prayer and worshiping God. In reality, one should see and love God in everything, everywhere and every moment, with purity and openness of mind and heart. I greatly appreciate the novel way you have chosen to feel the presence and divinity of God in your personal life. May Almighty God bring peace, happiness and prosperity to your family!! Have a nice day!!

That is a very nice concept of praising God. I do believe that you will be able to commit yourself from doing that.
