can you count how many people you have met so far in your life

today was a hectic day for me. i had to do a lot of outside home jobs like i had to go to the postoffice, drop my child at the school, brought groceries from the store, paid some bills, went to temple, got my son's bicycle repaired. In completing all my tasks i met 2 of my friends, helped an old lady cross the road, unexpectedly met one childhood friend, met an distant aunt, met 2 new people who are my friend's friends, met my son's new school teacher.
Finally, after reaching home, having a cup of tea, i relaxed and wondered how many people i have met today. Today in all i met 15 people personally. An interesting data for advertising people.
Really, how many people do we meet daily since morning till night we sleep and how many people we have met so far in our life?

WOW! this is good. you've got me thinking there. Well, if the question is for a day only I can say more than a more than 50 because my three classes alone already have 48 students plus the people I met in the grocery and in the phone center where I went today. If you're gonna ask me for my entire life, I could say a million ... a rough estimate only since I love going on a night life and do socializing in bars, the I went to Hong Kong, then worked in two big provinces of China and went to 4 more big cities in China. Its quiet a lot. 
I can't count anymore. Since I love to travel too. I travelled 6 times this year alone. 
I surrender counting. Its just a lot. Take care. happy every day!!!

that's really tough to count.and you know each people work busy,come and go hurry,even in the big cities like New York,tokyo,shanghai,people don't raise their heads as they walking,let alone counting.but for me ,i perhaps don't work busy like them.i feel hundreds of people pass me.that's just around

ya,it is possible to count,if we consider sigle day or two days.otherways it is not possible.it is not that much easy thing.if we have lot of works or we are tensed about some thing then we can't remember.but some times this is an intresting one.

i can't count all of it, because i do not remember all the person that i met in my whole life... i can remember their faces, but i do not remember the names of some..yesterday, i met i new person...and the rest, i know all of them...

Oh my god i couldn't imagine the amount of people that i've met in my lifetime. I used to be pretty popular and go to the bars alot and would have a new set of friends like once a month or so. Most of those people i never have seen again or moved away or something and moved on with life. But we still had that small friendship of, "whatever happened to that guy" kind of thing. I bet over a lifetime you'd meet up to the 100,000 thousands if not more of people that had that small conversation or small fringe on your life.

Its not possible because daily we meet some new persons and our memory is short time and we cant remember more than three to four years issues so there is a fair chance of getting wrong results and hence dont try to count

I really cannot count them. They are so many and most of them influenced me in different ways. Some taught me to be strong while others hurt me and made me stronger. Some became my friends and some were just acquiantances.
I have met alot of people in my 28 years and I have kept some who became true to me. I've always been blessed with family and friends who are there for me in times of troubles. They've been supporting me and made my life better and worthwhile.

This is a great topic. I can not count how many people I meet in a day because I own my own boutique and I meet people all day long. It is so funny because I can not even begin to round up a number for the amount of people that I have met nor meet in a day. I wish I could keep a count but I would probably forget half of them anyways.

see thats just impossible to count the exact nos. thats equal to counting the no of hairs in ur head but u can recall the good meetings and the bad ones by categorizing them
which depend on the meeting u had with the particular person

That's a bit difficult to do. Life is so random. We meet different people daily. We may remember some but we don't remember most of them. We may have smiled at them but you can still can count them. They're endless. They countless. And it's nice that way.

Come to think of it, I don't think I have met more than 500 people in my life. Friends I can count on my fingers. Acquaintances, a little more. My world is a small world, it now occurs to me. Cheers!!

Are you kidding? I believe not many people keep count for one day, let alone for so far in our life.
Apart from family members sometimes I did not meet anyone. I spend a lot of time in front of my computer and sometimes asked my children to do errands. I do not count seeing the neighbour passing in front of the house.

oh, I think it is uncoutable. Every day, on the way from my house to my office, I meet many people, such as the lady who sells breakfast byond the sreet, an old woman who cleans street, and so on. Sometimes, I say hello to them, even talk with them if I have enough time. If I go out, I will meet more people. But many people I just meet, maybe I will not meet him for second time, even when I meet him for second time, I can not remeber him.
