i think i will go crazy with my officemate's cellphone's ringtone. it's like this: PAAAPAAAAA......TELE-FOOOOOHN.....PAAAPPAAAAAAA......TELE-FOOOOOOOOOHN.... OH-MY-GOSH LOL! it is funny but sort of annoying because his cellphone cannot go off without me reacting so i am easily distracted from my work :-)he got the ringtone for free from some website. right now, he and another officemate are at his table downloading some ringtones and giggling. tsk. LOL! i am wee bit conservative in my choice of ringtones. mine is just a simple RRRRRIIIIING. what about you, do you like crazy ringtones?

I love crazy ringtones but right now I actually use songs as my ringtone. Right now my ringtone is MIA "Paper Planes" but if I am any where important I have my phone on vibrate.

My kids seem to love those rings. They asked if they could program my phone for me, and I let them. Well of course, needless to say, I was at an important meeting and forgot to put it on vibrate. In the middle of a paused silence, my phone starts blaring "Peanut butter Jelly time"! (It's some rap song that the kids like). Needless to say it was quite embarrassing. I had them reprogram it to just a soft ring.

I used to have an office co-worker with a ring tone that was incredible. It started as a low whistle and grew into a real hoot. I used to say it was Jane calling Tarzan. She used to stop it before it got to full volume. Some of them are indeed awesome. Others are like piss. I think people should evaluate their ringtones. You can impress with it.

I have different types of ringtones and it really depends on the situation which one will I use. If I need to be discreet I choose a discreet tone if I need to hear it amidst a noisy crowd I choose a loud tone. I think in an oiffice environment it would be good to use a discreet tone so that you won't be disturbing your officemates.

I dont mind individuality where anything is concerned but I too find some of these ring tones a bit too outlandish.I think like several other things ,we should choose carefully our ringtones .Some are pleasant on the ears but some are downright annoying .

hi, ronnyb i respect other people's choices too. as to the choice of ringtones, i can just suffer hearing the annoying sound because i do not think i have the guts to chide someone for their ringtone. ya. i am a coward. LOL! thanks, ronnyb! see ya around!

Wow that’s crazy to be sure. I know how some people go to lengths to be different. In my office there are two ringtones that stand out. One is in English and on daddy tones…it goes like ‘daddy pick up the phone’ and the other has been set by the nephew of a colleague which says (in Bengali) ‘hey there’s a call for you hahahahahah’ and this is so scary too coz the way the child laughs has got distorted and a weird kind of sound comes out when the child laughs *goosebumps*

hi there i know what you mean. i always get spooked by "possessed" children in horror movies. so i guess that child's laughter is really scary.

I too have seen many people having crazy ringtones. Though they are funny to hear, sometimes they become annoying too..I really hate it. This is the main raeson that I never go for crazy ringtones. We never know how other people may feel about it..Some may be in good mood to enjoy it..and some may be frustrtaed to hear the ringtone. Also a ringtone of the cellphone should be a pleasing one and good to hear. So I always go for a melodious ringtone from those already provided by the mobile manufacturer. I have been using cellphone for the past 5 years. But I have never downloaded any ringtone or callertone..

Hi there Raine! I love crazy ringtones! I also download them for free from a website. But I know where and when to use it. When I'm just hanging out with my family, or friends, I use crazy ring tones. Also when I'm at home. But when it's time to sleep and especially when I'm in school or in a workplace, I always set my cellphone on silent mode.

hi, nanayangel it's good that you set your phone on silent mode in those places. very appropriate. i don't put mine on silent mode but on discreet, just to avoid disturbing other people. i cannot bear to put it on a silent mode though when it's time to sleep. i am too paranoid. but imagine if you have that PAAAPAAA TELEFOOOOHN alert and somebody calls you in the middle of the night...LOL! i think i think i will hide under my blanket. LOL! thanks nanay. take care!

The cellphone has really democratized a lot of things. I hear the ringtone of our maid's cell phone ring every 15 seconds and it is distracting me. However, she seems to be enjoying it and it's her right to enjoy it.

My cell phone always has the ring tones which in conformity with the person will call to me. And it doesn't too loud or too small. Because it can impact to other people around yourself. You can put you into other's situation, you will feel what happen with yourself.

This is really funny but yes, annoying when too much. In my previous job, I had an officemate with such a funny ringing tone. It was like this - "Hey Miss Beautiful, pick up your phone please!". It was actually my officemate's voice and she just recorded it with a soft and flirty voice. Every time her phone rings, one of my guy officemates imitate the voice which makes all of us laugh. It was really funny. But when we were busy working and heard that ringing tone, we all feel annoyed but we just ignored her because I guess it is her happiness to remeind herself beautiful every time.

hi, iamcdy i am amazed by your officemate's sense of humor...or self-confidence. LOL! such ring tones can really be distracting but i guess we just have to let other people do or hear what they want and hope that someday soon they will notice that it disturbs other people :-) take care!

A crazy ringtone cannot drive you crazy but make a laugh out loud! Don't you believe it? Just download some from website and see what happens with you every time you have a phone call.

i have 'neyo' song as my ringtone.. and the song 'everything' (michael buble) as a special ringtone from my husband. but i also have someone in my office who has a similar ringtone that you mentioned.. it is in local language, and it screams... 'Daddyyyyy.... Pickk upp the phooonnnneeee!!......' i think he actually had his child say it and had it recorded on his phone... it is quite cute, but.. he likes to leave his phone on his desk, when he disappears to go for meetings.. and he leaves his 'child screaming on the phone'...

I think I've heard that ringtone. Anyway, I like downloading ringtones but not that annoying and scary or might be mistaken as an emergency or something crazy. Simple ringtone is enough for me. The important thing is I can hear when somebody texted me or calling me.
