What book are you currently reading? (Blurbs only- no spoilers)-

Currently I am reading this book called So B. It. It is about this little girl who is raised by her neighbor and goes on a journey to figure out her family history. Even though she also lives with her mom, her mom is severely mentally retarded so she does not offer her much help. 12 years ago the girls mother had showed up on the neighbor's doorstep with a baby and the neighbor took pity on them. The neighbor who raised her has a mental issue also that makes here afraid to go outside, so she has to let the girl travel to New York by herself on her 12th birthday in search of answers of her mysterious past.

Interesting topic. ^_^ At the moment I'm reading War and Peace, which is unusually interesting and boring at the same time. I've been reading it for a while now, but I'll finish it! xD The back: War and Peace is a vast epic centered on Napoleon's war with Russia. While it expresses Tolstoy's view that history is an inexorable process which man cannot influence, he peoples his great novel with a cast of over five hundred characters. Three of these, the arless and delightful Natasha Rostov, the world-weary Prince Andrew Bolkonsky and the idealistik Pierre Bezukhov illustrate Tolstoy's philosophy in this novel of unquestioned mastery. Sounds exciting...? xD

Currently reading Parallel Desire by Deidre Knight, her 4th book in her Midnight Warrior series. It's a sci-fi romance. Here is a portion of the blurb written on the back: "A fantastic and riveting new voice in paranormal fiction, Deidre Knight continues her electrifying Midnight Warrior series, set in an alternate world where desire comes with a price...and love is the greatest risk of all." I highly recommend this series to those who like sci-fi romance, or even just plain romance. Beautifully written, complex plot-line and wonderfully created characters.

I'm currently reading "The Tailor of Panama" by John le Carre. I admire the author's realistic treatment of the realm of internation intrigue. The title character is a very complex individual, and you feel like you know him very well as you delve deeper into the book and watch him become tangled up in a web of espionage. I'm only halfway through so far, but it is certainly an involving read.

I'm currently reading "New Moon", which is the 2nd in the "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer. So far they have been awesome books!! If you like the Harry Potter books, you will probably like these, although they are very different. Before this, I was reading the books of Linwood Barclay, who writes mystery/thrillers, with some comedy mixed in to them. I found one of his books called, "No Time for Goodbye", in Walgreens when I was just looking for a fast read. It was excellent!! He has 5 other books, 4 of which are part of a series, though not the kind that you really have to read in order, although it's better if you do. I have really enjoyed his writing - it's great if you want some quick, light reading. After I finish the "Twilight" series, I'm moving on to a series that my mother has highly recommended which is the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon, "Outlander" being the 1st book in the series.

I am currently reading Ayn Rand "Capitalism", Shuglin "Pihkal", Which has had more of a story than expected. Life experiences and the relationship with his wife, her involvement in the research. My spouse and I are also reading "The Illuminatus Trilogy", which is a sci-fi conspiracy novel of sorts.

I am currently reading a book "the 4th of July" bu James Patterson. It's a murder mystery/crime story.

I just read Night in Rodanthe - it was good! Few nice twists and a it was over nearly 20 years time, but in such a way that it was amazing and happy and sad and just a good "curl up with a warm blanket and hot chocolate" and spend a nice 2 hours! I couldnt put it done once started. Bet the movie isn't as good! AndI won't see it as I enjoyed the book so much I don't want the movie (which is almost always different from the book is couple ways) to ruin my enjoyment of the book

I am just finishing up Robert B Parker's Rough Weather (Spenser novel). And have Sidney Poitier's new book Measure of a Man ready to start. I have a few James Rollins books I want to get to and read in order as well. I always have several books laying around to read thank goodness. Have to support my reading habit!! :-)

hi, I'm currently reading "Conversations With God" the uncommon dialog book 1. Still in chapter 3 right now.

Sounds like an interesting story. I am not reading novels these days. I am reading the professional books for participating a test. The book is a little bored ,actually speaking. So I hope I can pass the test successfully. Because I don't wanna read it again. Huh! Go on fighting!

Currently I'am reading Master of the Swords by ANgela Knight. She's one the few writer that I like the most. Its a vampire, dragons, witch, and werewolves type of series. I've read it twice But since I love the story I'm reading it again.

I am currently making my way very slowly through "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am enjoying it, but it's not at all what I expected. It's a grand saga of a family and their interactions and loves and life in a city called Macondo. And as you read it, it seems normal and realistic for a while -- and then something magical happens in the storyline, and you realize this is a unique mixture of realistic fiction and fantasy. It's extremely intriguing, and I am not far enough into the book to understand the shape of the plot (if indeed there is one) but I would recommend the book highly (so far). The author won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982.

I'm currently reading the fourth book in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. The story picks up after Bella and Edward had gotten married, and what happened after that. I have to admit, unlike the previous books in the series, I'm struggling to finish this one. I feel the plot has gotten a little too convoluted for my taste, but I will finish the book... I know the Twilight series has a lot of fans, and though I enjoy the books, I still think of them as light reads.

Since I read audiobooks I don't have an exact blurb for you from the back of the book or something. But I'll try to make up my own blurbs that are spoiler free. Currently I'm reading 2 books at once because I always tend to do that. I just started reading "A Single Shard" which is about a poor boy living in a Korean pottery village around 1100. I've heard it's supposed to be good but so far it's hard to tell. It's very short though, only 3 CDs long so I should be finished soon. I'm also reading "An Office Power Ballad" which is about a guy who dreamed of being a rock star instead working in an office for the music industry and making a 6 figure income. So far I find his voice very monotonous and so I can only listen to a little bit at a time. I guess actually I lied about only reading 2 books at once, because I am also reading "Years at Hull House" on the computer to improve my reading speed. I'm finding it very boring for the most part, even though I like history. And then I'm also reading "Reclaiming Our Health" by John Robbins. I'm about half way through that and I've been reading it for about 6 months now on real paperback. I can read about a page in 15 minutes or so on it. It's very interesting though and if you've read his other books like "Diet for a New America" you'd probably enjoy this one too. So I guess I'm reading 4 books at once. Not counting books that I started in paperback and probably won't ever finish because they've been sitting around too long for me to ever remember what the beginning was like again without re-reading it.

I'm reading " The Matarese Countdown " by Robert Ludlum. Not a bad book and not a great one. He's written better books than this.

I'm reading several books at the moment...all non-fiction. Haha. Since these are non-fiction books there's not really any real blurps on them...and if there were, they sure wouldn't catch your attention as a "must read".
