Do Your Washer Eat Your Socks?

Missing socks...I know that all too well! It never fails in our household. I even keep a special basket aside for all the mismatched socks, thinking that the mate will turn up eventually. Some of those socks have been in the basket for more than a year. I guess I can give up hope on those. I seem to constantly buy new socks for my family, yet I can never find a matching pair when trying to get them ready for school. Yes, I have sent my kids with mismatched socks on occasion. Does that make me a bad Mom?

Yep! I swear I loose so many pairs of kids socks it's not even funny! I buy them like 4 pkgs every fall and a swear when I do wash there's only a pair or two. I think the sock monster has turf outside the laundry area in my house & in particular likes kids socks.

I hate socks, I keep buying but always seem to end up with odd socks!! My oldest son started a fashion at school because he was always wearing odd socks!! I wonder what happens to the mates, they just seem to disseaper!! Jacks

Yes, I have this problem very often. I always end up with socks with no match. I don't know where they go.
