Do violent video games make you violent?

Violent video games have been researched numerous times over the years. Some studies say that they won't cause aggressiveness, some studies say that they cause. A recent long-term study made both in Japan and the US states that atleast you can predict aggressiveness from the games one plays. Kids can tell it in very young age that "it is only a game" and understand it. But when the games get more graphic and graphic, no one can deny that atleast the worst games will make an impact on a person. Sensitive people don't want to even play them, but will the games make "borderline" people go ever the edge?Do you play shooting/beating games? Do your relatives play? What do you think?

I play first person and third person shooters a lot. Is this a new study or the one that found that the video game type didn't matter, that it was the fast frame viewing of video games that affects the frontal lobes of kids as kids are growing up. This in turn cause problems later on for kids in which their impulse control is tougher for them to get a gripe on. Most of us that are adults won't let our kids play the games we do. Nor be in the same room as us when we are playing the games. Even something that seems as heroic as Rainbow Six. And, we tend to keep ourselves away from kids that play these games wondering where the heck the parent is that bought the M17 game for a 6 year old.

I know many people that play games, especially violent. I don't really believe it could make you violent though although some people play way too long or play tricky games they can't seem to complete and it makes them aggresive. I think most people can control theirselves and know the difference between a game and real life.
