Chewed out by the chiropractor

I had been needing to see one for a while now. Thing is, my mother in law and father in law had major health issues going on and I could not put those off. Anyhow, I had been told by several people that the chiropractor had helped them a great deal when they had Bell's Palsy. That was part of the reason I wanted to go. But my arm had been bothering me for some time now also. To the point that simply lifting a soda can hurt. I had a chiro many years ago. She told me I had giraffe neck. I didn't know what it meant then. I do now. He had a fit when he saw my xrays. He has only seen 20 cases ever where there was no curve in the neck what so ever. I guess I make number 21. Anyhow, apparently the angle from the brain stem is straight down at one angle and them the neck goes straight down in the opposite direction. He explained that this can cut some of the oxygen to my heart and may be the cause for my heart being enlarged on one side. He also said that he couldn't help me if I didn't commit to this. Now, I really don't want any further heart issues so I assure you, I am going to be a good girl. I actually got to see my heart in the xray. The left side is definately enlarged. There is also a sideways curve in my spine right there. I go back today and twice more this week. He said he may have to order me a special collar to help my neck cooperate. All I know is that my face has already relaxed a bit more with the Bell's. Live and learn.
