Last year's unopened gift

I just found an unopened package of play-doh that I had put in one of my kids stockings last year at Christmas. It was sitting on top of the kitchen cupboard, safe keeping so they wouldn't make a mess. We all must have forgotten about it, because the package was not opened. It's a package of 10 mini tubs of the clay. Since I already got them some play-doh for this year, I'm thinking I'll use these in the goody bags for their friends at their birthday party.
Have you ever found an unused, forgotten gift from a past Christmas? What did you do with it?

my inlaws used to throw all the wrapped christmas presents into the attic when my hubby and his siblings were young. one year, in the summer, they were in the attic and found a game that they had bought and forgotten all about and well the kids got an early (or late) christmas present that year.

I pick up gifts periodically through the year and I am notable for just this stunt! LOL I don't wrap them though until right before Christmas because I would never remmber what they were! LOL
