What will you do if a technician, who, instead of fixing your cell phone, actually broke it and then never assumed responsibility for what happened, instead he asks you to pay him? This is the most depressing day for me, cell phone wise. I do have a share of cll phones since it became a necessity, i had 4 or 5 different models but then i felt really atached and comfortable using my current one (Nokia N90). i had this fone since 2006 and i love it though it is very heavy and it is a little diificult to navigate if you only have one free hand. Lately i have noticed that i've been texting incorrectly and dialing numbers incorrectly. And then i found out that the keypad was indeed malfunctioning, so i brought my cell phone to a licensed technician. When i handed the technician my fone, the only problem was the keypad, he said so himself upon checking it out. as he was about to open the front cover of the fone. where the keypas was attached, i noticed he was really struggling trying to get it open. so he asked me "is this the first time your fone will be opened?" and i nodded, then he said "that's why its so hard to open.." after 30 minuted of trying to no avail, i asked him if he can really do it. he answered" i have done so many tings like this in the past, don't worry. it's just hard to open because it is the first for this to be opened." he continued oding what he is doing. then i heard a loud sound popped! and then i saw right before my eyes how his little teeny screw driver slashed its way through the housing of my fone, right into the screen. i felt so shocked, though i, nor did the technician say anything. he continued working as if nothing happened, but obviously, by then, the housing of my fone was completely broken. after 3 minutes he said "its done, look at the keypad. its working again." i asked him politely, "What about the screen and the housing of my fone, you broke it?" he answered,"the keypad cleaning is $8 and the housing will cost $80 but since we don't have a stock at hand for the housing, you may leave your fone and come back for it after 2 to 3 weeks, coz it takes that long fr our suppliers to deliver the items needed for relacement of your housing. After that i asked again,"i will pay for$88?" his answer was this" YES OF COURSE, THAT $88 AND $25 FOR THE LABOR." I THOUGHT WHAT??? YOU BROKE IT THEN I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT? THE CLEANING SERVICE ITSELF WAS CHEAP, ITS ONLY $8, BUT THEN I HAVE TO PAY OVER $100 ALL BECAUSE YOU MISHANDLED MY FONE? Geez, this really sucked, being the push-over that i am, i just went hme crying with my broken fone. there after, i also noticed that there is no connection available, meaning the antenna is also screwed up. i can't make calls, let alone send messages. Wat do you think i should do or what should i have done?

i only paid for the keypad, since the housing was not yet delivered. i can't just replace it by any fone. i dont know why but it seems that my fone is like a security blanket or something.
