for the singles: why are you still single right now?

it's been 2 years since my last serious relationship. most of the time the ones that come around within the two years are either married or married. i have no idea why. i'm wondering what the people here at mylot's story are.

I am 27 but I have never been in love.I never had a girl friend.My country is a bit conservative in the matter of love and marriage.Here finding a partner for their son or daughter is one of the paramount duties of the parents.Love marriages are viewed by the with a suspicion or frowned upon.Moreover my studies are not yet over and I need to find a good job.Until then I have not decided to sign out of my bachelor life.

I am from India.Here the race,case,religion etc. are indelibly ingrained into the social life of people.My friend who recently had a love marriage was expelled from his house.

that's nice. my mother used to tell when i was in school to prioritize my studies, because boys are gonna' be the ones running after to me once i graduate from school and have a decent job. i don't know why i ever believed my mom. kidding! hahaha! school has to come first of course.

its been about 6 year for me since i was last in a relationship. personally for me i don't see the rush to date some one. ya there are some nice things about being with some one, but right now in my life that would just make things more complicated then i want things to be. I'm still not sure what I'm looking for in a relationship.
for me most of the girls that come to me are the type of girls that i know i don't want to be with. I've dated about 69 girls in my life and i do know what i don't want. maybe I'm just looking for the right one or maybe I'm just to picky when it comes to girls. i really don't know. the only thing that i do know is when I'm ready i wont be single any more, but until that times comes I'm just enjoy my life the way it is.

yeah, just go with the flow, right? but don't you like get lonely sometimes? or maybe it's just me. when i see my friends with their partners, i always feel like "why can't i have something like that, now?" a li'l jealous with what they have. i don't know, maybe i'm just immature.

Hi. I am a singl mom I have been single for almost 2 years now. I left my husband and found out two days later I was 4 weeks pregnant!! AHHH So now im a singl mom of 2 beautys. I am still single now because I just dont have time for dating! Ive been on those internet dating sites but not really for me. I have found that there is just noone good enough to be a father to my kids! In my eyes anyway! Hopefully when they go to school which is not for another 3 years. Then ill have time to date! But ya never know i may find the right on on this site! HAHAHA

I am single because I choose to be. I don't really like the whole social scene, especially dating. I really just prefer being alone. I am introverted, quiet, and shy. So, being single works for me! :)
