So today is my 8 month anniversary with my boyfriend. We went out for supper and I treated him (he always pays for me so I wanted to pay for him) and he said itll be worth it in the end. I was like "ohhh dear what did he get me now, he spends way to much money on me" so when we get back to his house he hands me a card that says on the inside "it was worth it" with two tickets to the movie twiligt this friday for opening night. I am absolutely obsessed with the book and have been counting down the days to the opening. I didnt want to go opening night because of how busy its going to be but now Im more excited than ever, I have never EVER gotten this excited over a book or movie before, Im not really into them, but i cant WAIT. Is anyone here excited for the movie to come out. Does anyone have their tickets yet? Im surprised there was still enough left at this time. I have been seeing facebook groups for weeks getting ready for the opening.

Good for you. :) Can't wait for the movie! Been waiting for it since summer! XD I'm excited but it's kind of sickening because everyone's so into it. It's overheard, overrated and all. But I don't care. I love Twilight as I love Harry Potter XD

Yeah. Everyone's hooked. It's just like Harry Potter craze all over again. The only thing is, I think the Twilight craze is much more intense. People are making shirts with Twilight designs and selling them. And people keep buying them! There are even Twilight bags for sale. 0.o

I'm not going to go so far as to say, I'm a crazy fan of the Twilight series, but yes, I do plan to watch the movie. I've read all four books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) I think the story is interesting, and I do find Edward fascinating. It's no Harry Potter, in my opinion, still it is a decent read and I was entertained. Maybe because I'm more used to adult PNR books, I find Twilight a little tame. I've read of hotter and sexier vampires than Edward, but he is sweet in his own way. Still, I can understand the attraction among teens. Yes, I'm definitely curious how the movie stands in comparison to the book. That I think is enough reason for me to check it out. However, I'll probably wait a week after it is released before I go to see it. I don't feel like battling a horde of sceaming teenagers...LOL.. Hope you and your BF enjoy the movie and happy 8-month anniversary.
