When is the best time to shop for bargains and sales in retail stores. Do you find that certain days of the week have sales more often than others? Do you find that certain months or seasons tend to have sales more frequently? And where do you usually find the best deals, malls, outlet stores etc.?

There really isn't a best time I just wait and see which stores are having the best sales or are going to have the best sales and that is where I go to shop. I like to go online to my favorite store and check out what kind of deals they are having. I decide what I want then look to see who's got it at tes best price. That way I only have one stop to make instead of hopping around from store to store.

In my opinion, it depends on the culture of different countries and the people's living style. In my city, it's easy for the customer to bargain with the retail stores at the end of the year. Some sellers of the retail stores will be urged to get back their invested money from their business to cover their small loans in bank or transfer the business in another field. The retail sellers will sale their goods in cost or lower price, otherwise they can not get the sufficient funds to fulfill their business requirement next year. So I always meet the SALES promotions at the end of year, expecially in December. I thinks it's a good chance to buy the goods in the cheaper price. But the price of all kinds of goods will be increased before the Chinese new year.

My secret is I shop at the end of the season for next year! If I'm doing this for myself, I try to stay away from fads and stick to classic fashions so I don't look out of fashion. I have gotten some fabulous outfits at the very end of the season for the following year. If I'm doing this for my son, it's harder cuz he's only 3 and they do grow like weeds, but I've learned to estimate. I found his entire school wardrobe this year for less than $40!! I got 2pc sets, with either long or short sleeved shirts and jeans or chino-type pants. The trick includes keeping the tags on until the season is actually here and if something doesn't fit you can return it. You prob won't get the same thing for the same price, but at least it's not wasted money. One of the best things about this is the excitement you feel when you pull out your summer stuff and sift through it, and find that cute skirt or sexy blouse that you completely forgot you had. It's like X-Mas!
