Are you allowed to use MSN or Skype at office?

Our company forbids us to use MSN or Skype when working as the boss fears that we would leak out certain important business information of the company.Thus when only use telephone,email and fax to contact our customers. Customers always do not believe that we have no MSN or Skype, cause telephone and fax cost much more.Well,this is the real situation in my office. How about you?

We actually use MSN for communicating with our associates outside the country. So yes we are allowed to use MSN and other form of instant messaging like Yahoo Messenger.
