Some said ITS BAD, some said Its NOT BAD..Once there was a time I happened to talked to an Old woman, her age was 110 and she was still energetic but just a little deaf. You have to shout a little bit in order for her and you to have a good conversation. She said she never use MSG on her food when ever before, ate much vegetables and fruits that why she reached at her present age (110). What about us, what about me? Its too late at my age to know that...ohhhhhhhhh I don't care..I dont give a damn.. I will continue using MSG. My favorite food is tasteless with out MSG. But only, not too much but just a little. Because I believe that everything that's TOO MUCH is Bad...just like a song "TOO MUCH LOVE WILL KILL YOU"...happy mylotting..

i have learned about it, that using msg in our food will give us harm. i don't know if it's true but i have not yet experience anything that could have caused me bad in my health due to msg intake. they say it taste better if we have msg in our foods but we can still make it better depending on how we cook the food. although we stopped using the most popular msg, we still use msg but now those newly introduced mixed seasonings available all over.

I don't use it anymore. My husband gets headache when eating food with MSG. I don't know why. Probably because of his heart issue. But I really think that MSG is bad for human. It makes our food more tasty and flavorful. I used to add some to the dishes I cook.

I have never add MSG to any of my cooking. I have heard that it is not good for you. I try to buy foods that are MSG free. I do add a little bit of hot sauce to give my cooking a kick. Not enough to make the food hod hot but just a kick. A few drops. I find that it adds to and brings out the good flavors of the herbs I'm cooking with.

I don't usually use it. I only use a little bit of it when I cook soup, clear soup I mean. But it's just a little bit, or sometimes I don't actually put anything anymore.
I'm not also fond of those mixes and other seasoning that isn't either a herb or a ground pepper something.
I just don't like the taste of putting in MSG, plus it makes me have headaches.

No, we never used MSG at home. My mom doesn't approve of using it when cooking. She once caught our cook using that stuff and threw everything in the trash. Most of the food we cook at home are bland, but healthier. We have a taste of MSG once in a while though when we eat out at Chinese or Filipino restaurants.
