Christmas are just around the corner. Just a month and a week to go and it's Christmas time. Christmas is the most celebrated holiday. All the schools, offices, public and private companies and establishment celebrate it with their Christmas parties. Whatever your status in the society whether your the employer, the employee the teacher or the simple student, your company or school will definitely held a Christmas party every year before Christmas. And during Christmas party aside from chatting, eating foods and parlor games exchanging gifts is also one of the best part in the party.
I often often buy towel or shirt for my exchange gifts and I often received shirts and handkerchiefs in return.
Every time you join or went to a Christmas party what do you usually buy gifts for your exchange gift. And what gifts do you usually get after the party? Do you like what you get or do you expect something instead?
Thank you for sharing..

When I was still working with huge organizations, I experienced running out of creative stuff for them, but now, since there are only 6 in our office including the messenger, I already have prepared what to give my two female officemates while I am thinking on whether to give hankies or foods for the three males.

I won't be attending any christmas parties this year... the only one that i will go to is the gathering with my family... and i am almost finished with my christmas shopping... most of my gifts consists of bags for girls... shirts for the boys... and toys for the young kids... i don't expect to receive any gifts since most of my cousins are still in school...

Hi there warrior_777!
I usually give gift certificates to my colleagues. I find that easier than thinking of what I could give them. In addition to that, I also give them stuffs that I do myself like beaded accessories and stitched patterns. I usually receive planners (that's why I often start the succeeding year with at least 5 planners). LOL!
Sometimes I receive different varieties of coffee (for brewing) because most of my friends know how much I love coffee.

I usually give shirts and soaps. I just wait if someone one give me a present. I don't usually accept. They say Christmas season is the time of giving and sharing so I guess its really better to give. Before December I go to different shops and malls to look for the things I need for presents and foods for Christmas.
