'Black Friday' comes early

retailers are offering early sales and deep discounts.Starting November 8th, Walmart will have in-store specials starting at 8 am. Best Buy, K-mart, Circuit City, even Target will be getting into the act. Alot of electronic stuff will be on sale.
I'll bet the best deals will be at Circuit City since they have stores closing. In this economy, would you be inspired to spend? Not me if it doesn't have to do with new baby stuff or my daughter, the money is staying in my pocket.

I don't shop based on when they put on their sales, I shop based on when I have extra money. Besides most of the things they have on sale aren't anything I would be buying anyways. I really hate how Christmas has to be so commercialized. I applaud the people who don't celebrate Christmas, or who do their shopping so early that they aren't feeding the commercialism. Next year I plan to do my shopping super early, I'll probably start in January.

We usually start in September or early October. Done by Halloween. With the new baby on the way, got side tracked!

That was me last year. My son was due January 10, so I had to get organized for him plus get Christmas for the other 4 kids. Luckily I pulled it off.

Well, Christmas always gets me spending. This year we are reigning things in a bit, however. Maybe more next year.

Oh thank you for informing me of this I hadn't a clue that it was going to be early this year. Also thanks for the link now I can check out all the good deals before heading out to shop..Might just save enough money to buy myself something..I don't have alot to spend so I am very thrifty when it comes to spending my money.

I am waiting to see if the sale price are significant savings. If they are there are a few items I may purchase. We don't do gift-giving much anymore, our family is grown and scattered. But there are things we are planning on buying when we find a good deal. I am wanting a laptop and am hoping for a super good deal on one.
I do agree that Christmas is way to commercialized, I like to remember the reason it is celebrated in the first place, the birth of Jesus.
