I read an article recently about ppl wanting to make marijuana legal. They say it isn’t a drug and that it has medical purposes. To me anything that alters your mind is a drug…something’s like aspirin only alter a little while something’s like Oxycotin alter it a lot. I do think that a lot more research needs to be done on it before anyone makes it legal. I’ve seen some reports that link it to psychotic behavior. I don’t know…in truth, I’ve never used the stuff. I do know ppl that have used it for literally dozens of years. Their nuts anyways so there’s no way of knowing if it was the drug or just them. I know a couple ppl that use it and I’ve never turned anyone in for it but if someone brought it in my house I would turn them in. If I knew someone was giving it to a child I’d turn them in too. Do you think it’s a drug? Do you think it should be legal? Would you turn someone in for using it? ~~IN SEARCH OF PEACE WITHIN~~ **AGAINST THE STORMS, I WILL STAND STRONG**

Here in Canada it is legal for medical purposes. I believe they have done enough studies to know that it isn't as harmful as some people would lead us to believe. Besides if you do use it recreationally you would know that it is not that big a deal.

I have known people who used it "recreationally". I don't know if there is any real progress in the medical use of it. I am, however, on the fence about the criminalality of it. For very small amounts, it does seem to be time and labor intensive to arrest and prosecute adults who use it (not children). There is a lot of more serious crime to fight. But there are two sides to every story.

They say that it does help you if you have glaucoma. It does seem to calm folks down that are high stress. Has been known to ease monthly cramps in women. I am not sure what the long term effects on anyone would be. There are many reasons to say that it would help folks if it was legal I am not sure if it will or should ever be legalized.
